Project acronym: RIPE4TEC

The technology allows you not only to print parts of a complex shape without the need for casting or further processing, but also to control the microstructure.

Heterogeneous epoxy materials will be obtained, composed of hard and soft microscale subdomains, with contrast and spatial distribution, which will be designed by modeling in such a way as to increase the general resistance of the material, without compromising its strength and modulus.

Functionalized nanoparticles will be added, both to produce reinforcement and to increase energy dissipation. The work will greatly expand the range of epoxy applications, lead to the new heat-resistant printing technology and introduce new concepts for the design of materials with various applications.
